Photography is my main passion. 
I shoot mostly in 35 mm, in both color and black & white. I used to be a darkroom technician, and I enjoy printing black & white, but I haven't been up to it lately. For color, I'm very picky and find even the best labs to be a gamble, or at best a hassle. So I've gone digital. I scan the slides, tweak them in PhotoShop, and print them on a photo inkjet. I have a need for travel.
I've played around with all types of photographic subjects, but my favorites are nature and architecture. These specialties have something in common -- they both require getting out of the house. I've spent a lot of time driving backroads, and on vacation I've been known to trapse around with threes cameras on my neck and a vestful of lenses. In recent years I can't do that anymore, but I do have a camera bag that fits in the basket of my mobility scooter.
